O·VER·DOSE
Noun: A dangerous amount of substance.
Verb: To experience an excessive amount of something.
Much of the same is to be said about the NY Hip Hop Duo “SO O.D.” who’s chemistry is a reflection of their name . Artists Nuf $ed and D.I.V. are a combination of raw lyricism at its best, mixed wit detailed concepts, and vivid connections. They have been working with one another for over five years and have developed an incredible work ethic. Their word play is witty, energetic, and clever, which magnifies the impact of their music. The strength of their faction is derived from self sufficiency, being that both parts were solo acts before they unified as SO O.D.
Nuf $ed, Often referring to himself as a borough to borough NYG, has lived in Harlem, The Bronx, Queens and Brooklyn. D.I.V., otherwise known as Destiny-In-Vizion is from Westchester County, Originally Yonkers, and has constantly been in route with NYC for years. The two met during a studio session in 2005 and the rest is history. The combination of two different worlds on common grounds of music and substance, has created a one of a kind mix of perspective, creativity and content.
