Biography:

Singer, songwriter and guitarist who has been described as "annoyingly good", "prolific", "gifted" and "..almost revered in parts of his native Edinburgh".

Played live in an array of bands as well as solo plus experience of session and studio work during the 80's and 90's brought his voice and guitar playing to wider attention and since the mid- 2000's Roy has performed in Europe, New Zealand, USA as well as his native Scotland.

Six albums, "Confessional", "The Theory of the Road", "Nobody's Fool" "The Last Bus Home", "The High Places"; and 2021's Boulevards which was written and recorded in France. There was also the 2013 EP "Quartet" (Produced by Bob Heatlie, writer of several chart hits including Shakin' Steven's "Merry Xmas Everyone") and the 2014 EP "The Hard Place" have all raised the profile even further, bringing radio airplay and high-profile support slots for legendary US songwriter Steve Forbert, The Strawbs and the ex-Men at Work genius Colin Hay. All of the music can be found on Bandcamp for streaming and download.

Currently living in South West France and continuing to write and record in his own studio as well as continuing to perform at local gigs and festivals.
