Settle is a Pennsylvania-based indie-rock band started by brothers Nick and Willie Rose in 2001. The band released two EP’s (the "Pink" EP in 05, and the "White" EP in 06) and toured regionally before releasing their first proper full length, "At Home We Are Tourists" (Epitaph Records) in 2009. Christopher Burcin joined the group in the Spring of 2007 originally as a bassist. After a lineup change in late 2010, Chris switched to guitar. The band is currently busy at work on material for their sophomore LP, which covers a broad range of sounds and influences.
“I am pleased to announce Settle's debut album "At Home We Are Tourists" is the greatest release from Epitaph this year.”
Michael DiVittorio - The Daily News
“This newly signed act has a lot of traits I admire in the bands that reach the depths of Aly-fandom: their lyrics lean toward poetic in a way that is earnest but not'EMO' and their tunes are original and fun without being - perish the thought - quirky”
Hooters - Hooters Magazine
“For those who rock: Rapture, We Are Scientists and Phantom Planet - "100 Bands You Need To Know" Alternative Press Magazine (April 2009)”
BS - Alternative Press
“It is funny how the Seattle and Brooklyn sounds have merged more and more these days; hailing from Easton, Pennsylvania USA, Settle combines the best aspects...”
