Biography:

Evelyn Duprai has been working full-time as a vocalist in Sydney since September 2005 in which time she has well and truly been making an indelible mark on the Sydney music scene.

Evelyn has the rare gift of being able to sing in a number of different styles AND sing them well - Jazz, Funk, Soul, Gospel & Blues! It should come as no surprise then to see that in such a short time, her resume reads like that of a seasoned veteran. Evelyn has worked with a smorgasbord of some of the finest musicians and recording artists this country has to offer!

Evelyn toured for 2 years with ARIA award winning electronic dance artist Paul Mac, works regularly with iconic jazz legend, James Morrison, and has toured the country with the multiple ARIA award winning rock band, Silverchair.

She recently toured with the James Morrison Orchestra sharing the stage with Doug Parkinson and Monica Trapaga. The tour comprised performances at some the nation’s most prestigious theatres including the Regent Theatre in Melbourne, and Sydney's very own State Theatre.

In April/May 2010, Evelyn was invited to join Larry Braggs from the world renowned “Tower of Power” to join him and David Garibaldi on their first ever “Legends of the Tower of Power” Australian tour.

With such a string of credits in so short a time, one things for sure - we’ll definitely be seeing and hearing lots more of Evelyn Duprai. Watch this space!!
