Biography:

I started playing guitar in 1976, when I was sixteen years old.
Over the years I have taught myself how to play ukulele, mandolin, bass guitar, native american flute, and have always had a sense of rhythm, so picking up djimbes and other types of percussion instruments has come easily.
In the early 1980's I was writing songs and have continued to progress in that process. When it comes to song writing I am inspired by many things. Drum rhythms, the different sounds instruments make, the variety of electric guitar effects, and more. Do I start with words or music, you may ask. It depends on the song and or the mood I'm in at the moment. Mood does make up a lot of where a song is coming from for me.
In the early 2000's I had quite a stack of original material building up and I had wanted to start recording, but recording at my own pace. So, I went and bought my first home studio equipment. The evolution of my recording equipment has changed from the time I started and I found a system I like. I use an old school presonus unit that I can plug into any computerized recording program, as long as the computer uses firewire. I know, I said it was an old school system. Currently, what you hear of the material I have on here, is a testament to that evolution.
Do I have more songs, you may ask? Why certainly. I continue to write, record, and produce at a regular pace. Always stay tuned if you like what you hear.
