The Rescue Dogs Band was formed in 2009 by Birmingham musicians Andy Gathings, Daniel Belk (formerly of Cool Beans), Bobby Bruner, Derek Nolin (Alo’s Meds), Clifford Smith and Daniel Long. Their collective sound bears influences from all genres of music and can be best described as Rock-n-Roll. The Rescue Dogs Band has built their foundation from the ground up and are steadily moving toward becoming one of the best new local bands in the Birmingham area.
