Nelson 2000
Jae moved to nelson in summer 2000 to attend the Nelson school of music. Were Jae met the amazing musicians that would go on to form the Rebels. Jae wrote a bunch of new songs for the'One true thing' album and the other half were older songs that had been floating around (some since 1995) a while. The album was recorded at the nelson school of music. Jae & The rebels had a regular thursday night slot at the Victorian Rose Hotel in Nelson when they weren't on the road. Jae Bedford and the Rebels played many shows in Marlborough, Neson bays, Christchurch & Kaikora on the tour to promote the album.
