I was born in South Central L.A. and adopted out the same day from a
hospital next to a Mercy Mission with a Purple neon Flashing Sign that said "Jesus Saves"...I was 55 before I knew what that meant. The Hospital burnt down in the 64 Watts Race riots,the mission, me,and that sign are still standing.
