The Inoculators were born in 2005, by guitarist/vocalist Murphy Lynch. Later the same year, their debut album "Dropped Their Brains" was released. Late one night at a seedy bar, Murphy met a rather obnoxious bassist/vocalist named Christina Ownby. They spent the evening slamming whiskey and discussing their ideas on life, music, sex, and bad gas. At that moment, Christina and Murphy knew they were on to something and The Inoculators train hasn't stopped since!
With a pounding rhythm, the dueling male/female vocals lead that train, leaving you driven, wound up, and always wanting more. This carefree but socially aware attitude is infectious and their live performance makes The Inoculators a serious force to be reckoned with.
“Inoculators are a little bit faster and gruffer, but every bit as pissed off. These songs are so catchy but not poppy. In that respect, I’m reminded of Rebel Spell a bit. I really, really like both bands on here and will be searching out more.”
Ty Stranglehold - Razorcake
“This new line up is pretty phenomenal. We’ve seen them practice a few times. I am pretty sure one of my favorite songs of the night was “A Fleeting Thought”....I think it is safe to say that the new line up gets an A plus.”
Joe Dana - Big Wheel Magazine
