Biography:

This up and coming group consist of two Mc’s, Brandon White known as Branue, Shane Hampton known as Adroit and Nathaniel Jenkins, known as DJ NRJ . Both born and raised from the city of Pittsburgh they have went through some early maturing through their 23 years. Even though when times got tough, nothing had really killed their spirit. These guys have been friends since kids both were very active in sports and school activities also having the love of music and poetry in heart. They are hip hop artist who incorporates a variety of diverse sounds and illustrative lyrics to tell a story through his music. Their passion for rap developed back in the 90’s as the listened to cassettes of 2Pac, Biggie Smalls, A Tribe Called Quest, Common, Mos Def, 9th wonder, and many more. During middle school, they began to expressive their creative talent by writing in their notebook as a way for freedom to their mind. Leading into their sophomore year, Shane & Brandon teamed up with Clenton, aka Mastermind , and over the remaining years of high school, the duo came to be known as the TFC, or the Too Fresh Click. The group utilized the sampling of outrageous sounds, much like Brandon and Shane’s personal favorite, Kanye West, to produce an unreleased mixtape titled True Statements. The group split after highs school, but the two have remained close, both as artists and friends. Now as young men Shane and Brandon have reunited this time with a friend of the family that Nate, and formed their new group Family Tree, Which they all truly look at another like brothers no matter the situation. The stage presence they deliver brings you back to De La Soul, Beastie Boys, and plenty more. Family Tree’s career is constantly developing, so stay tuned for the eclectic sounds and imagistic lyrics of his upcoming tracks, mixtapes, and albums.
