An instrumental quartet comprised of David Bates, Phillip Walton, Ben Mauch & Jared Boggess. They released their first album in May of 2007. Influenced by many artists current and past, spanning many genres, they strive for a unique jazz-influenced indie rock sound that is as captivating as vocally-driven music.

Aiming to take instrumental music back to its roots, Set Sail Caravel's sophomore release takes a modern take on the classical suite. Written as a symphonic poem to an original epic written by guitarist David Bates, the album spans six carefully composed parts that follow the journey of a brave ship. Cambiare Suite is about change, as the latin word "Cambiare" implies, a theme carried in both concept and music.
