REGGAE-SKA-CHINESE REGGAE-SALSA : YAMPAL - also known as Thomas Nennstil was born in Essen, Germany. After having studied at the Vienna Universitiy for Music and at the Folkwangcollege in Essen, where he earned his state-examen, he went on for private studies with Jerry Bergonzi in Boston, USA and with Werner Pöhlert in Bensheim, Germany. He then started his own successful music-career, which took him throughout Europe.Roots Reggae Festivals,Kieler Woche,Opernball Wien cultural festival in Beijing Reggaefestival Gothenburg Swe etc. A very special attraction at his concerts are his own arrangements of chinese Folkmusic: Chinese Reggae and Chinese Ska. Very special are his versions of well known Reggaesongs and his new created "Calypsoton"!
