When Day steps on stage and into the spotlight, crowds gather, hearts thump, feet cannot help but move. This is the power that he has as a singer and entertainer. His magnetism and charisma shine through when he performs and his obvious love of music and dance is apparent. But his eclectic, unique style was not born overnight. Hard work and dedication have accompanied his transitions into other forays in the performing arts. This accomplished singer/songwriter/producer and actor has an impressive record including an Emmy Award and Grammy Nomination, but it doesn't stop there. With many years in the performance industry, this young entertainer has worked with the likes of J.T. Taylor of Kool and the Gang, Wyclef Jean, The legendary Stevie Wonder and Erykah Badu just to name a few. Acting has also been fruitful, landing DAY a role in a feature film entitled "30 Years to Life", starring opposite Tracy Morgan. “As a musician who is also a lover of all genre's of music I know what it looks like when a vocalist carries his/ her audience to a realm in music that they have yet to experience. And each time I see this young man perform I see an audience that is so invested they don't care what tomorrow has in store.
His audience will sacrifice sleep, money, and time just to catch every ounce of his performance. Don't get me wrong DAY has surrounded himself with a level of talent that this world may not be ready for. But, his connection to his fans is genuine and with each performance you get to see a little bit more of his passion. I hope that DAY will bring this song out to the masses once again because I feel like the music world is ready for this song. I know I was.

““we did the political, now we are doing the sexual part of the show…” the fever turned up a notch. This was my first time seeing and hearing Day perform. I have NO idea where I have been, but he was unquestionably one of my favorites for the night. He crooned “Let’s Get It On” behind his shades and had me stupefied with each note. Once he moved the mic stand and cooed “…get it on, let’s get it on…” it was all over. I am surely looking forward to hearing more from him.”

“First up…DAY & THE DAY SHOW BAND! Day’s energetic vibe and powerhouse vocals echoed through the room as if he was conjuring up the rock soul music of yesterday and SR’s Caprice was under his spell! His charismatic persona, along with the bands’ killer musicianship, reels you in making you feel apart of something great; leaving an addictive vibe in your soul as you groove to their eclectic rhythms! One of the highlights of his performance (with a little help from the audience) was a song he created on the spot (that he should record…I’m just saying-LOL) entitled, “Lovin the Vibrations of cleaning up BP Oil” (check the video on that).
