Biography:

Session 606 was a vision created in the mind of Anthony Masington way back in good old 2006. At the time, it was a huge session comprised of all acoustic tuneage with a number of effects and random noises. Blossomed from a passion for fixing one's self, and being a slave to perfection. Anthony's uncle was the greatest influence to this project by far. 606 was more of an endless number, being the same forwards as backwards, also a number that has plagued Anthony throughout his days as a teen. Almost often checking the time and getting 6:06, and other random appearances. After viewing the movie Session 9, Anthony was struck with inspiration and desperation to take 606 to the next level. In 2008, the demos began, then shortly after taking off to Kingston, New York, to be in the band Mours with Josh Eppard, and Dave Parker, the writing of the rest of the record began. Tracking with Josh and Dave on some of the 606 material as well. Later on in the year 2009, Anthony joined up with Weerd Science, performing live guitar for the act, also opening for WS on a mini summer tour as Session 606. Shortly after moving back to Trevose, PA, Anthony was contacted by Bryan Mills (A big fan at the time) asking him if he could travel up and jam with him for a day. It was instant magic and before they knew it they were playing their first string of shows, opening for artists such as The Eppard Brothers, Weerd Science, A Dream Worth Dying For and Better Day. Session 606 made it's way into legendary Applehead Recording with Producers Chris Bittner and Michael Birnbaum, Recording their full length debut featuring guest musicians and also Anthony on every instrument(besides drums) and Bryan Mills on drums and percussion. Their debut album "Hiatus and Rebirth" is set to make a huge mark in the underground scene. Four plus years coming, showing no signs of stopping. This ElectroProg group is sure to turn heads.
