Biography:

In late January of 2006 guitarist Manuel Robles and drummer Steve Mendoza were both music addicts and seeked to start a band in Manuels garage in Whittier. After few practices Steve introduced cousin Robert Acuña (guitarist) to Manuel to help fulfill the rock music interest within the band.

After getting a few songs written, the next step was to find a rockin lead singer to help front the band and begin to write material. After a long seach, Rob discovered Jonathon Gillette online and with his help the band was able to continue moving forward at a hundred miles per hour.

After having Jon within the band for a month or two we began to look for a bass player, but before we could search Steve-O decided to leave the band in search for different musical projects.

With the band back to just 3 members, Manuel, Rob, and Jon, practices began less frequent and the band didn't look to have a future. But as much as Rob wanted to keep writing music, he didn't stop to look for members when he came across Henry Flores, drummer, online as well. With his insane taste in music we began doing some cover's of some 80's metal/rock bands. Once we worked on those for about a month we found our sound and began writing material and planning birthday parties!

No bass player? No problem. Once the band bgan playing birthday parties/backyard shows, Jon's buddy Frank was happy enough to fill in. Although from the beginning Frank was unable to be permanent, we took our chances, continued to write music and played our first venue August 12, 2007 at the Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood.

As Frank had other priorities in his life, we had to say goodbye to Frank, but we were fortunate to find another bass player days before playing the Whisky again. Joey Mercado, another buddy of Jon's, found out we were in search of a bass player and stepped in. With his killer attitude and influence with rockin music, he fit right in.

In late June and early July, when we thought nothing would stop the Stallion, differences in the band and a look into the future of the band resulted in Henry's departure. As the band seeked to continue to the next level Henry's decision to leave put Rogue Stallion back to finding more members.

Although in mid July 2008, Marco Leon, high school buddy of Rob, took up the offer to play drums for a last minute show at the Roxy in Hollywood. But with work and school schedules interfering with time for the band Marco would unfortunately be unable to continue playing with Rogue Stallion.

After posting many ads, Mike Holland (drummer) discovered one of them and responded immediately. Within a 2 weeks time of jamming, the band knew Mike was the guy to take the stallion to the next level and with Mike's love for music, he's about ready to help make some head's explode!

And we began to roll! We went on our 1st official (mini) tour. We hit the road for some amazing shows that took us through Sin City itself Las Vegas, took us all throughout the Inland Empire, down South, and back home in the beautiful City of Angels, Los Angeles! But sadly due to scheduling conflicts Mike had to eventually leave the band. But not before we went into the studio and completed what was to be our Debut CD "We Are!" Rogue Stallion!

With our Debut in the final stages of production, we needed a strong force behind the Drum Kit. And we found that force in our long time friend David Maya. And we began to hit the road hard again. Doing great shows, making a great impact on the scene.

But unfortunately before we were able to take the step forward in our career, we sadly had to part ways we our brother and one of our founding members of Rogue Stallion, Robert Acuna.

But one Guitar player would NOT stop this band. With our album then ready to go, ROGUE STALLION celebrated the release of our Debut Full-Length Album entitled "We Are!" ROGUE STALLION with the Biggest show to date June 7th, 2011! On this night we celebrated the release of the album (NOW Available on iTunes & Amazon.com!), we celebrated nearly 5 years of hard work & dedication to this band, and we celebrated all the love & support we have received from our friends, fans, and family.

Now we are hear rolling on doing what we love to do, make powerful music that we can always be proud of, kick f*cking ass every single time we are blessed to step on stage, and always remember that is all thanks to each and every single of you, our friends, fans, and family, that allow us to do what we do. Because my friends you allow & inspire us to live the Dream.
