Biography:

We Should Be Dead exploded on to the music scene with their critically acclaimed debut album 'Forget Romance, Let's Dance!' in 2008. Since then band enjoyed great radio success in both their native Ireland as well as the UK. TV show appearances and Award Nominations only helped further the bands output.

After relocating to Los Angeles to record their 2nd album with producer Owen Lewis (Lady Gaga, REM, Hole) the band signed with the Green Room Agency as well as getting huge endorsement deals with Orange Amps and Korg. The band also did several US Tours throughout 2009.

We Should Be Dead also made appearances at both SXSW 09 and CMJ 09, where they ended up playing over 15 shows combined. In turn the band had music bloggers foaming at the mouth.

The first single to be lifted from the forthcoming album is 'Up All Night' a sparkling slice of indie/dance/pop that falls somewhere between The Cars & early Madonna. The single gets a worldwide release on June 18th.

This will be followed by the new album 'Dreamstate' which gets a worldwide release on July 2nd.

““Quite a spectacle””
Kevin Bronson - Buzzbands.LA -

““We Should Be Dead’s tunes recall the spry and sassy hooks of The Like, Giant Drag and the Ooh-las. At the same time, the band channels the 70s and 80s new wave of Blondie and the smooth but vivacious vocals of Bananarama.””
JadeB - The Slums Off Hollywood Boulevard
