The band is formed by 5 guys, all 5 guys have influences of various musicians, artists, and bands. Aram inspired by the old rock age, from Beatles, Chicago, and Queen to Beegees and Audioslave plays the bass. The melodic guitar duo, played by Eric and Armik, is mostly influenced by System of a Down, Metallica, Nirvana, Rage Against, to Sublime. David learned to bust his double bass pedals with a lot of practice and some helpful influence from Killswitch Engaged. Serj is influenced from all music from all around the world, his vocals inspirations root form Incubus, Journey, Usher, Saosin, Circa Survive. Since March of 2009, The band changed its name from NeverBorn to MadStory.
