From their humble beginnings as an experimental group in early 2007, Coach House has always stuck to one idea; making music that they enjoy to listen to and play. If there is one thing the band can not be accused of, it is being unoriginal. They blend influences of experimental rock, hip hop, and more into a melting pot.CoachHouse is currently recording their first full length album with Jamie Carter (TV on the Radio). This new album, will showcase the bands origial, live sound as well as show their different influences and inspirations.
CoachHouse recently started playing larger venues in Chicago such as Schuba's, The Empty Bottle, Reggie's and co-headlined at Subterranean.
