I got accepted into the National Conservatory of Mexico at an early age. That gave me a great basis to develop my music and my voice in the years to follow. Shortly after, I got the opportunity to come to the United States where I settled down at the Jersey Shore.
I released my first CD on Oct 28th, 2011 with much appreciation for all the help and blessings received from many friends. The CD contains seven of my original songs and it is titled “Dreams of Amethyst,” in reference to the nihilist perception of the world as seen through the lenses of our minds. I chose the amethyst as a representation of the filtering glasses through which we perceive everyday reality.
Following the release of my first album, I continued to perform and develop my music but did not release anything until the summer of 2020, when I published a small EP titled “Freedom Is Now,” which includes some spiritual and motivating songs.
Finally, this year (2021) I was excited to present my first professional album “Hummingbird.” It features pop, earthy sounds and was produced at SSR Recording Studios. I invite you to follow me in this great adventure of reconnecting with music, life, and nature.
Follow me to change the world, one song at a time…
“Most people would not expect to walk into the Noyes Museum of Art of Stockton College in the Oceanville section of Galloway Township on a Sunday afternoon and leave humming a Jackson 5 tune sung by a female singer-songwriter.
But that exact scenario played out on a recent Sunday as the museum played host to one of its Afternoon Acoustics sessions.
Yuni Sabatino, of Galloway Township, was the featured artist. With guitarist Dylan Martello and percussionist Bob Naumchik accompanying Sabatino's acoustic strumming, she surprised the dozen people inside the museum with her rendition of the Jackson 5 hit "I Want You Back."
"I like smooth jazz. I like soul music. I mix it up with the Americana and acoustic rock," Sabatino said.
"This event has grown substantially within a year's time," said Shana Zimnoch, assistant to the director of the Noyes Museum. "The number of people coming specifically for the music nearly matches the museum's regular attendance."”

“Yuni is a mesmerizing singer/songwriter from the South Jersey shore who brings an interesting mix of Acoustic Indie Soul Rock with a touch of Americana. This exotic lady with Spaniard roots from the other side of the Atlantic Ocean brings a riveting electro-acoustic Rock guitar sound combined with emotional melodies, sung with a passionate, soulful voice. http://www.yunimusic.com/”
