Biography:

I am an active oldtimer who during the corona times, when we could no longer perform outside, fell for an idea. The coming generations need to learn about the good old hits. So I started looking for backing tracks, which I could adapt my voice and which I could make in my simple home studio (GarasjeBand and Røde microfon). I hope someone will like old hits.
I have always been involved in music. At the age of 9 I was accepted into the Norwegian radio boys' choir (Sølvguttene) where I was a member until the voice change came about 4 years later. At the age of 16 our first pop band was started. After marriage I spent a few years singing children's songs before I spent a few years as a troubadour presenting Norwegian and Swedish folk songs. A few years later I was contacted by a local blues band that needed a vocalist.
This site started original with my membership in the band The Bluesmates. The Bluesmates was founded in Drøbak, Norway, in the late 90s, three of the original members were active until we ended the band.
The band greatest strength is the variety in their repertorie. They play tunes by Fleetwood Mac, Fabulous Thunderbirds, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Clash, Finis Tasby, Dr Feelgood, Elmore James, Luther Allison and several others.
The Bluesmates have performed in conserts at Drøbak Blues Festival, Gardermoen Airport Hotel, Sonfestivalen, Mossekonserten, Halmfestivalen i Ski and Vinderfangerbukta Bluesconsert in Drøbak. In addition they have also played at dance parties and other musical arrangements.
The Band play their own versions of well known Blues tunes together with rock Classics.

The third album presents a collaboration between the fantastic, Italian blues guitarist Marco Maenza and myself.

The fourth album presents a collaboration between the great Canadian duo JMACS (father and son - multi instrumental) and myself. They are making originals.
