Phil “BRIDGE” Henery has learned the virtue of patience when it comes to music. After receiving his first piece of professional equipment at 17, Bridge never looked back. “I’ve always wanted to inspire others in any way possible, just as my favorite artists inspired me,” he said. Taking many cues from legends like Erick Sermon, The Large Professor, De La Soul, and Pete Rock, Bridge sought to create a heavy, solid sound with enough space for a dedicated MC to really spread their wings lyrically. “My objective has always been to make the best song,” he said. “I don’t want my sound to become a crutch for the artist, but a springboard for their vision.”
Currently, Bridge has an EP out with Maryland-based engineer/MC, Resyte Theez and his first R&B/Soul release with another local artist, AniDae coming soon.
