Biography:

Alana Grier debunks the myth that one is a “jack of all trades”, but “master of none”. Alana has mastered many trades—raising 5 children, teaching 5 – 9 fitness classes a week as a certified fitness instructor, running her own wellness business and most recently fulfilling a lifelong dream of completing a full length CD– Sweet Deal.

Sweet Deal is a compilation of 10 original tunes that Grier, an accomplished bassist, penned either by herself or with her former songwriting partner, Arthur Walton. Her unique vocal style, engaging melodies and insightful lyrics are reminiscent of the breakout freshmen CD’s of Norah Jones (Come Away With Me), Sheryl Crow (Tuesday Night Music Club) and Corrine Bailey Rae (Corrine Bailey Rae).

Alana is a recent transplant to New Mexico, having lived in on the island of Kauai in Hawaii for a number of years. Her debut CD was produced by Grammy-Award winning producer Larry Mitchell and is available October 1st.
