Michele & The Midnight Blues plays with a whole lot of energy. Take Memphis blues, a little Chicago and add a touch of Peidmont & strong dose of Texas blues and you're in for a rockin' blues adventure as we live up to our motto "Blues is more than cry in your beer music"!!!
The band had to take a break because Michele went through a sh*t storm of health issues but growing stronger and only facing one more surgery, she was hired to sing in the new movie with Colin Firth, called Arthur Newman, Golf Pro. If the bit does not end up on the cutting room floor, you will hear the bands tune Better Than I written by band mate Madison Bunting, with Terry Nash playing a piano version in the film with Michele!
You can purchase their tunes here and soon to be on iTunes too!
"MIDDLE AGED BONES". As MICHELE points out, "they may look good on the outside, but it feels so bad inside". And I can't agree more with her claim that they "creek and they moan". This one's good ol' rockin' blues."
PETER "BLEWZZMAN" LAURO - Mary4Music
“”raw talent and stage presence is what creates a fan base at the end of the day. For Michele and the Midnight Blues, this is no exception, and similar, descriptive words appear again and again...to recount the bands energetic, powerhouse performances and ability to work a crowd”
Emily Rea - ENCORE
“Both the albums are very good, you have a very relaxed and subtle way to sing and play the blues in fact that is very pleasant, and I already started playing some of your music in my radio show of American roots music at Radio Voce Spazio...”
Massimo Ferro - Highway 61 Italy
“First let me say that I really enjoyed that 'LIVE' CD...I listen to it on the way to work in the morning...nice way to start my day:)”
Barb - Feminine Groove/ENGAGE Internet Radio
“part of the appeal of the record is your honesty…I'm a guy who likes the details. I heard a lot of great details in the cabaret album. Your voice was stronger, the guitar playing was very, very good and the truths in your stories were self evident.”
Kyle Deibler - Blues Bytes
“Their most recent CD "A Night of Storytelling" is a kick-a$$ blend of Southern based musical soul provided by the Midnight Blues musicians while Michele cranks it up a notch with her distinct vocal style.”
Stevie Wilson - Fashiontribes.com
“We are talking about the sort of songs that generally remind you of what might have been or what is about to come. A case in point being "Better Than I" with a Chicago style, slow burning and passionate blues sound that you just drift along to.”
The Blues Bunny - The Blues Bunny
“On this set recorded live and titled A Night of Storytelling she introduces the songs with narrative of their story and creative birth. This disc will go over big with all scorned, divorced and all the anti men women out there as a good portion of the material is not flattering to the male psyche.”
Bob Silvestri - Best of WNY.com
"Seidman has had a lot of success, not only as a vocalist but as a songwriter as well. "I write what I know", says Seidman who has been hailed by other musicians in her field as having a truth and passion in her music.
