Biography:

Cera Impala is a wild banjo-wielding mama. Originally from Flagstaff, Arizona, Cera has performed all across the USA and Europe. Since making a home in Edinburgh in 2012, she has made tracks around the UK as one of the notorious queens of harmony, The Bevvy Sisters. Cera is a seductive singer and prolific songsmith who forges intimate yarns from everyday occurrences. She is currently recording her 3rd album with her own band, The New Prohibition, including Dirk Ronneburg and Alec Hunter (both of the Southern Tenant Folk Union).

"Graceful, eerie, tragically beautiful, it's like she's living with a backwoods secret she's determined to keep."--Victory Review (Seattle)

"Simply stunning…a phenomenal set. Thank you Cera - it was a privilege to spend some time in your world."
~ARRAN FOLK FESTIVAL

"The likes of Crooked Still or Nickel Creek…wreaks of authenticity, delivered with due deference, a bourbon-soaked liturgy of distress."~FATEA MAGAZINE (UK)

“Impala drives every song with some fine banjo playing while the fiddle and bass are equally accomplished. The tunes are catchy." ~MAVERICK MAGAZINE (UK)

“Authentic. Plenty of Bang for the Buck.”
~EAST BANK RADIO (Nashville)
