Born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Kevin is a 1990 graduate of the University of Michigan School of Music, where he studied piano, improvisation and composition. Since 1991 he has worked in the San Francisco Bay Area as a pianist, composer and teacher. He is a certified Orff Schulwerk instructor, specializing in music and movement education for children. Kevin has scored several independent films and has produced original music for multimedia and theater. In addition to piano, he also plays accordion, guitar, bass, baglama, fiddle, banjo, and djembe.
