Like wind, CHI-ILL' ’s presence naturally breezes through the
entertainment industry carrying with it the mark of a future legend.
CHI-ILL' ’s unique artistry, versatility and humility allow him to deliver
entertainment with meaning. Hip Hop legends have recognized his
talent and CHI-ILL has recorded with icons such as Kool G. Rap and
multi platinum producer Dame Grease.
Hailing from Chicago, CHI-ILL encountered and overcame many
socio-economic challenges that face too many of today' s inner city
youths of his generation. These, along with other life experiences,
motivated CHI-ILL to broadcast his gift of lyricism and spread his
message of perseverance and triumph to the masses.
CHI-ILL first earned his stripes on Chicago' s underground rap battle
scene, where he attained an impeccable record. Building on that
success, CHI-ILL aligned himself with Chicago' s Heavy Hitter DJ
NONSTOP. Together they released several mix-tape albums which
achieved major distribution throughout the Chicago area which in
turn generated national attention. The culmination of these releases
was the 4 Corners Mix Tape which was recognized and endorsed by
Heavy Hitter DJ legends, DJ ENUFF, DJ FELLI FEL, DJ NONSTOP and DJ
PROSTYLES.

a crowd produced many accolades in CHI-ILL' ’s career such as touring
as an opening act with headliner DMX, being a finalist in the 2006
Cuervoton talent search, having his strengths recognized as a
performer at the 2009 Latin Mixx Awards and being ecstatically
embraced by many fans in venues throughout the country, from
Anchorage to New York City.
"Chi-Ill spews that nihilistic gutter-rap over some hauntingly ominous production. He manages to give one of gansta-rap's godfathers a run for his money in the process."
Dan Vidal - URB.COM
"This song is very dope as it describes the current hip hop music industry from an independents point of view. Chi-ill is a definitely an artist to watch out for."
DJ Furious Styles - -
"A solid hardcore symphonic track along with killa lyrics to match"
Shareef Abdullah - WRFL/88.1FM
“Chi-ill contained various elements of Tupac within his music, and it’s clear the realness is a major factor in Chi-ill’s music.”
