Woven Green’s music is passion and poetry, metaphysics and metaphor, a balance of yin and yang; an artistic blend of classic rock, world and contemporary folk genres that play out to resolve on a unifying chord. The couple has a developed reputation for being spiritually and environmentally conscientious while creating music capable of lulling you into a dreamlike trance, rocking–it-out with full-on passion and fervor, and everything in between.
““Last night at Jammin’ Java in Vienna VA, this band went to a new level. No, not strong enough words. They blasted up through the roof to a place where all performers desire to ascend. Ashley Cash’s voice was soaring, searing and powerful, as the band covered Led Zep’s “Kashmir”. With the Venezuelan powerhouse drummer Zujey D’Jesus pounding out the ‘Bonham beat’, and the electric violin of Rafael Javadov delivering the familiar riff that drives this piece, the band gave the audience the best cover of this song I have ever heard. The other cover chosen by the band (“Somebody to Love”) gave Ashley a chance to showcase her vocal skills in the role of Grace Slick. The remainder of their set featured originals written by Jim Cash who alternated guitars between his signature deep green Paul Reed Smith, a pair of acoustics, and a white PRS. Whatever alchemy he uses to whip these tunes together really works, and the band delivers the songs with professional precision. Tig”

“Woven Green meets their honest aesthetic with songwriting skill…[making] them a band to watch for fans of John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band, OAR, Jason Mraz and others of the like."”
Stephen Carradini - Independent Clauses
"...Even the band’s name points toward its philosophy; the members of Woven Green espouse taking care of the earth, being unified with each other, and loving one another…This total honesty is to be commended, as posturing, irony and cynicism has become the norm in independent music…
Stephen Carradini - Independent Clauses
"Ashley Cash is going to get comparisons to Grace Slick, among others, and her voice is well-deserving of praise. Jim Cash's songwriting is also superb; nuanced and complex without ever overdoing on either quality."
Wildy Haskell - Wildy's World
"Woven Green is a bit off the beaten path; creating wonderfully addictive Pop/Folk/Rock songs with highly unusual subject matter. Woven Green is a superb introduction [and has] an unusually vibrant and intelligent sound. Woven Green’s debut EP, Woven Green, is sure to please."
Wildy Haskell - Wildy's World
"Woven Green with Jim & Ashley Cash enchant the audience with an artful intensity that is rare and phenomenal. Their creative performances do not go to predictable places, but each aural feast of a musical moment leads to the next one, and it goes exactly where it ought to go."
Ron Goad - SAW Showcase Director & Member Board of Directors
" I must describe you two as 'the dynamic duo'!
Again, wow! What I like most about the performance was that you brought
your beliefs and ideas to the stage. The music was true to heart. Thank You!"
