In 1995 Jimmy Reid won the award of merit at the Canadian Reggae Music Award. Winner of Canadian Reggae Music Awards for Album of the year his 2000 release "Secret Emotions". His album "Secret Emotion" which was released in November of 2000 has gotten rave reviews and was nominated for the 2001 Juno Awards in the category of Best Reggae Recording. Today, with five Canadian reggae music awards, four albums and several singles Jimmy is currently working in the studios on his album to be released later in 2009.
