Like great bands of the past (The Police, Steely Dan) and the few musically competent bands on today's scene (Dave Matthews, Maroon 5), Fina Dupa provides a musical experience that's both artistically satisfying and viscerally entertaining.
The band has headlined the Rock Bottom "Music At The Bottom" festival four years straight, has opened the Boulder Fox Theater for Trombone Shorty, has appeared twice at the South Park Music Tour, and maintains a local schedule in Denver music venues. Fina Dupa (pronounced “fine-a-doop-a”) has been a consistent musical presence in Denver, the Front Range, and the Colorado Mountain music scene for six years, and is set to complete the summer with the debut of their new album, "Are You Happy Now?," the band's second national release.
With the over abundance of semi-palatable music that has seemed to infiltrate today’s music scene, Fina Dupa adds both color and refreshing talent to today’s musical landscape.
