Biography:

An emcee, song writer, producer, engineer, promoter, graphic designer & photographer, Ghambit is a multifaceted music mogul in the Central Coast from Watsonville, CA. He has also been notably recognized as a battle rapper on Grind Time Now, the worlds largest Hip-Hop Battle League, with a 4-1 record. The multi-talented artist with vast personality and artistic creativity has magnitude of assets that will undoubtedly take him on a high rise in the industry.

This passion for music has led Ghambit to become a clutch artist in the Central Coast scene by being one of the most exemplarily involved. His leadership in the community has allowed him to develop events to guide the youth towards music and positivity; inspiring unity, involvement & peace. The events were successfully tailored to support the local youth center while simultaneously raising food, money & toys for other local organizations such as the Second Harvest Food Bank and Toys for Tots. He has also established and provided an affordable recording studio for inspiring musicians to record at High Quality for an affordable price.

Klyde, Dubee, Snow the Product & Oh BlimeyHis performances include, but are also not limited to artists such as Marques Houston, Too Short, DJ Quik, Devin the Dude, The Jacka, Philthy Rich, J.Stalin, Techn9ne, Mistah Fab, Hieroglyphics, Zion-I, Oh Blimey, Immortal Technique, Freeway, & many more. Most recently he shared the stage with the X Factor’s Chris Rene.

As a dedicated music enthusiast, Ghambit, has an extensive library of music collaborations, solo tracks, features, songs he’s written, co-written, ghost written, and engineered. He has also made several mixtapes available for download on www.Ghambit.com including the popular “Putitinthaair” series; Vol.1 with over 10,000 independent downloads with NO PROMOTION and vol. 2 with over 15,000 independent downloads with NO PROMOTION. The highly anticipated SOLO DEBUT album entitled “Legend In The Making”, produced entirely by DJ Pumba (Snow the Product), was released July 31st, 2012. Legend In The Making is an arrangement of carefully selected songs with excellent production. From outstanding beats to brilliant lyricism and proficient engineering, you can expect an original, catchy, versatile and veracious fusion of Hip-Hop and Neo-Soul, expressively robust from start to finish. It’s a definite ear pleaser.

The lead single “See The Light” off of the "Legend in the Making" album is also the theme song for the Hollywood feature film “Trophy” and stars actors Michael Madsen, Tiny "Deeboe" Lister, Eric Roberts, & Ya Boy. The views for the trailer to “TROPHY” are at a whopping 3.5 million & rising. Not only does Ghambit have a cameo in the film, and an official music video to the theme song “See The Light”, but the film has been picked up by Lionsgate.
