Biography:

An unquenchable thirst for making music and searching for truth is the driving force behind Swift Robinson. There’s a palpable urgency in their dynamic arrangement of song, stemming from hook-infested dual-harmony vocal lines, soaring guitar riffs, ambient glitch-pop sampling, and Velcro-tight rhythms. Swift Robinson’s sound is impressively unique, while cohesive and accessible, taking cues from mainstream pop/rock and experimental tangencies alike.

Vocalist/guitarists Casey Bennett and Eddie Williams bring inspired song-fragments to the table, and rely on the collaboration of bassist Ben Robinson and drummer Sonny Hopkins to grow them into powerful and memorable stories. That’s how it’s been ever since the band formed at Clemson University in late 2005, practicing in Eddie and Ben’s tin-can of a dorm room.

Since then, Swift Robinson has set off on a mission to play music full-time, college degrees in infinite wait under their belts. They’ve used their high-energy 5 track EP ‘We Write The Pages’ as a calling card, hawking copies on iTunes, Amazon, and at shows along a tenacious touring schedule throughout the Eastern seaboard and beyond. A debut full-length album entitled ‘Miles and Miles’, released in May 2010, speaks of a group well-beyond their years, both sonically and lyrically. Swift Robinson's take on indie/alt/rock is shouting over the groupthink noise and doesn’t intend to quiet down any time soon.
