Wayne Mason is a writer, sound artist and factory worker from Central Florida. He has been active in experimental music for over twenty years. He records ambient, experimental and noise sounds, formerly under the name of Zilbread, and is also a founding member of the experimental/noise/drum&bass project Stickfigure and the electronic duo Blk/Mas.
“Wayne understands the essence of the common man and how hard it is to find glimmers of hope amongst the day to day plodding movements of punching the clock.”
Aleathia Drehmer - Full Of Crow
“Wayne Mason is a blue collar factory worker who uses poetry to “speak out” on what he is against and what he is for. A product of his environment, Wayne is truly the “Working Man’s Poet”.”
The OPCC - The OPCC
“Mason is a working class poet who would rather hang out in a working class bar, with a jukebox so outdated it still has Monk on it, than hang out in a coffee shop with a bunch of trendy kids. I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes real poetry, cold and hard like concrete.”
Michael Grover - Covert Press
“Industrial Strength Zen Poetry!”
J.D. Nelson - MadVerse.com
“Mason has a strong voice and sense of self within the context of his
writing. Vivid, clear and well written, each poem seemingly unfolds a
different facet of the writer's persona.”
