“So what is Coraleena Ellis' music like?
Well I would have to say that is is most definitely reggae with an easy to listen to r'n'b voice over. Ellis' vocals are crisp and exciting. I think the fact that she is one of the small handful of female reggae artists is what makes her a lot more interesting than your average beneath-the-radar-of-a-major-label artist. There is an authenticity to the style she has chosen despite the fact that she was born in the U.K and developed her musical talents after emigrating to New Jersey in the U.S.A”

"No matter your circumstances at any given time, Reggae and Lover's Rock are usually a sonic freedom into a better place. As a primarily Reggae artist, Coraleena Ellis is no exception; but she takes it one further...she has the voice of a Neo-Soul artist. The combination of the smooth vocal lounging comfortably upon the uplifting track is one that is truly unique, and it turns out that her Reggae/Neo-Soul style is a blend as natural as Rhythm and Blues is conceptually. If you like your music eclectic, the work of Coraleena Ellis belongs in your collection."

“woah!
I am speechless: incredibly catchy, absolutely well played and singed, this track absolutely surprised me in a good way. Not just the "usual" reggae you may expect, the voice is warm and expressive, the band is tight and talented, the song is well built and the sound is great. As the recording appears to be done from a live event or so, I am sure would be a great bunch of fun to attend to a live event of this artist. Absolutely great, as I said! :)

“Let me be free
Refreshing indeed,I liked it from the start,I always heard reggae at parties was never deep into it,but the vibe was tight, there were moments in the song were it seemed to lose balance but managed to catch up.Well done,I'm thinking when it comes to reggae its mostly male vocals?if so the female vocal makes it special.

“nice old jamaican style!
My compliments for your voice is divine, simply!
The riddim sounds very good! very good skunk guiatar, groove bass drum is ok, but it lacks a small bridge to break the hypnotic rhythm.
Keep on moovin :)
