Hello Kelly, feisty Nashville & Toronto based alt-rock band, knows that the road is no place for the faint of heart. Back again with a transformed sound — harder, faster and more sincere — it’s clear that Hello Kelly is in do-or-die mode… and tenacity never sounded so good.
In October 2009, frontman/songwriter Francy Goudreault moved to Nashville, TN to begin work on a new record. It was there that he joined with drummer Ben Mahaffey, bassist George Wong and lead guitarist Travis Wilbourn and, after just one show, started developing a fierce little buzz in the city.
Why the buzz? People can’t help but respond to the story. If you’re wondering about how Francy’s stutter affects him up on stage, you don’t have to worry. Not only does Francy write songs that are mature & authentic, but he sings them like a bird, night after night, city after city.
Working with Nashville producer Adam Smith for the second time, it’s clear that Hello Kelly is excited about its new adrenalized sound. The band is all about encouraging, empowering and challenging Kelly (the band’s listeners) to sink their teeth into life and affect change in the world around them.
