Dick LeMasters grew up in Texas, listening to Jerry Jeff Walker, Joe Ely, Ray Wiley Hubbard, and other "progressive country" Texas artists. His original music reflects these influences along with rock and blues.
Since 2009, LeMasters has performed with his band Longneck Road, at festivals, fairs, and events in the Southeast Texas area. Notable shows include opening for The Charlie Daniels Band, performing on the main stage at Ford Pavilion in Beaumont, opening for Chuck Berry, opening for Wayne Toups and Zydecajun at the Port Arthur, Texas, Civic Center, and opening for Jerry Jeff's son, Django Walker. LeMasters has performed at the Hardin County Music Festival, Southeast Texas Mardi Gras, South Texas State Fair, and at numerous music venues and nightclubs.
Current songwriting influences include Paul Thorn, Steve Earle, and Fred Eaglesmith.

Southeast Texans aren’t afraid to put in a hard day’s work or to spend a long night unwinding once the work day is done. The confluence of blues, rock, and rural country music in Southeast Texas brought us Johnny & Edgar Winter and Janis Joplin. ZZ Top got their start here.
Against this backdrop and channeling that Texas Roots & Blues Rock sound, is Dick LeMasters. His latest album, One Bird, Two Stones, hits all the right bases. These songs have a solid Texas vibe and can hold their own at the toughest bars in town. Riffs that stick in folks’ minds as they clock in for the graveyard shift down at the refinery. Blues to soothe sore muscles and hung-over minds. Rock for a wild night on the town and country for repentance the day after.”
