"I go by the name DJ Pro aka Pro-Fresh-Inell aka The Professor," says DJ Pro, DJ Pro's love for music started when he was a little kid and his love for DJing started at an early age as well. When Silo was young, he used to take his mother's gospel cassette tapes and record over them with music off the radio. While recording, he used to act like a radio DJ toasting and chanting over his recordings like most DJs in the islands do. People began to call him Pro-Fresh-Inell due to the way he dressed up. "I always was in a suit and tie because I work a day job," says Silo. So he ran with the name DJ Pro-Fresh-Inell, later shortening it to DJ Pro.
