Biography:

Discovering his love for music at the age of ten from picking up a guitar, Francis Del Castillo AKA Frenz E, knew music would burn in his heart for the rest of his life. Heavily influenced by Nirvana, NOFX, Propaghandi & Lagwagon in his teen years, he finally formed a punk band which lasted several years. But after going to a rave for his first time and hearing good house music (Rock Your Body Rock), the following week he sold his guitar and bought a pair of Numark belt drive turntables. That is when is life would change for ever. The following year he bought some techniques and started to improve dramatically. He then got his first gig in 2002. Several years later he had pretty much DJed in every club in Dallas, including his biggest show yet at The 10th Annual Meltdown Festival Massive last year (2010). Having his DJ mix played on 102.1 FM Edgeclub on the radio with an original production. Frenz E has played at events with artist such as Will Bailey, Afrojack, Datsik, Excision, Ferry Corsten, Paul Anthony & ZXX, Sharam, Hot Pink Delorean, Skrillex, Designer Drugs, Riva Starr, DJ Bam Bam, Harvard Bass, Simply Jeff, Frankie Bones, DJ Venom, Congorock, A.S.Y.S, to name a few. In 2009 he started to get into music production landing his first release onto Banging Grooves Records. Frenz E would later release more tracks onto labels such as Starblocks Music, Backzide Records, Nuphonic Rhythm and Frontzide Records, which he owns. In Feb 2012 he will have made a big stepping stone releasing one of his newest tracks "Sleepwalking" onto SIMMA Rec
