Chantilly is your friendly neighborhood singer/ songwriter. She sings about stupid crushes, and writes the best rainy day songs you've ever cried to.
Chantilly's first album “caught light” was recorded by friend Danielle DePalma (Field Mouse, Mal Blum.) She recently released a new set of five songs entitled the Up to the Moon EP, having collaborated with producer Saul Simon Macwilliams (Ingrid Michaelson, Cara Salimando), and recently raising over $2,000 through Kickstarter from friends and fans to help finance it.
She regularly partners with brands like Macy's, We Love Colors, and Blowfish Shoes, having been featured on their blog, and placing some of the new songs in their web videos. By also running her own lifestyle blog, she brings in over 6,000 pageviews per month, turning many into new fans and followers along the way.
Chantilly has appeared at music festivals including Club Passim's Campfire Fest, CMJ Music Marathon, and L Magazine's Northside Festival, and soon the Tinderbox Music Festival (CocoRosie headlining.) Recently, she spent time at an arts and music camp- teaching, mentoring, and performing regularly for crowds of 300+ people. Her music has been used at New York Fashion Week, and she has been featured in Performer Magazine, the New York Daily News, The Deli Magazine (#1 on their songwriter charts when Caught Light came out.)
Currently, her new Up to the Moon EP is spreading like wildfire over the niche blogging community that she is a part of. It has been covered in about 30 blogs, garnering over 1 million reader impressions so far.

“An acoustic curtsy for the pained at heart... the release is a doleful portrait of an artist as a young woman, one that is flush with lure and blemished love.”
Taylor Haag - Performer Magazine
“The album is really great, you guys. It has a sort of bluesy, folk, vintage feel to it. If I had to compare Chantilly's music, I'd describe it as maybe a mix between Amy Winehouse and She & Him. But don't take my word for it, go listen!”
Elizabeth, Delightfully Tacky - Delightfully Tacky
“This week in the mail I received Chantilly's new EP and I've been listening to it pretty non-stop since Tuesday. Well worth it and you'll be supporting an indie artist!”
Kaelah Bee - Little Chief Honeybee
“Chantilly's new EP, Up to the Moon, hasn't left my CD player yet! She's too wonderful!”
Tieka Dierofl - Selective Potential
“Chantilly [is] one of our favorite ladies... She's insanely talented, I was really impressed with all of the tracks on the album... Trust me, you NEED to hear this!”
