Biography:

BLACK RAIN was registered in the state of Texas in 1985 as a business and has been published in the Texas State Music Industry since 1986. All lyrics, vocal melodies and songs were created and performed by/during a long ten years with various muscians and working local bands. Music accompaniment and "harder rock" music was created during band rehearsals by existing band members except “Is it Me”, “Whiskey”, and “Broken Glass” . Band members included Gerald G., Carl F., Lee A., Pat T., and Cindy toward the end of 2003. What remains of Black Rain is a few master recordings dated as far back as the early 90's and documented for ownership and copywrite purposes on this page, through video, and various live recorded media.

Today, the desire to create and enjoy the many music styles available on this music site is what brought me here a few years ago. To be able to experience the massive amounts and wide varieties of musical styles and talents is truly a gift, but to share your own creations with other likeminded people is amazing. Imagine if I would have had a website that allowed such an experience and ability to post my creation to hopefully reach, move and open our hearts and minds to new experience across the globe at such a young age? The music posted on my page is a fun history of some of my experiences with writing & creating music. Some from Black Rain and other bands here locally in my area music scene, band practices, rehersal halls, studios and special people I met in my life. History is just that, history and this page is used to share creative and new digital learning experiences. Music has always been an ongoing project since way before the Black Rain recordings and a beginning to an evolution of changes and ability to be just happy creating something! Music and song are now produced and created for very different purposes other than the expectations of our youth, thank God.

Reverbnation is a blessing to a musical community who has truly grown both for the variety of creative artist and official "rock star" status and various upcoming professional bands, to those who have a passion and desire to just create, listen, follow, explore, develop and find talented music/musicians and to those who still believe music can move people to feel, heal, love, hate, conquere, survive, strive and cry.

Reverbnation seems to appeal to a vast audience and makes a terrific outlet for us all, thanks reverbnation! Those who know music can be used to move people and create emotions or moods are artist, creators and producers worth a chance to be a part of the community. So to everyone out there just connecting through music, I hope you all find an this a great outlet for your artistic expression on reverbnation like I have and without ever having to feel bullied for what you enjoy or share. To all the muscians and people who share with us and touch our hearts and souls with thier personal styles, stories and lyric, please continue to "make a joyful noise" and remember to be kind to one another despite your level of experience and status in this technical world and keep an open mind, because history can and does repeat itself; when a few people get sloppy with our rights, they are usually taken from us all!

Thanks to the open source reverbnation!!

"I was so lucky to find the people in this life that enjoyed what I did and shared my experiences!! I was blessed with good friends, down to earth muscians who just happened to love music, creating and playing as much as I did! I got to meet a lot of different types of people with a common goal, just to have fun and create. I could not believe it when I was a kid to walk into a place and see someone else get excited about music especially where I was raised.....Music was not that big of a deal so if you had no other outlet but athletics you were pretty much screwed. I was blessed about in the middle of my junior year with meeting a band and getting to sing back up. The experience was mind blowing to me. Later the during the next four years the experiences of recording in studios, playing live on stage, and helping organizations with charity runs were terrific. Several years prior to Black Rain I was blessed to see music bring people to a common belief, that we all have something we can share despite our differences. I was truly honored to be a part of a bigger plan, bigger than self!

All parts belong to each individual artist who put their creative talents to work for the whole of the band. Recording rights belong to Black Rain and members of the band and has been a registered trademark since 1985. Each individual has ownership of his or her musical creation and contribution to the material. No one made it "big time" or ever thought they would but we all worked hard, loved what we did and had fun together!! Any material created is solely based on date of original material creation, ownership, and lyrical content. All Income statements for the years of 1983 through 2004 is available in hard copy form and has been preserved for future reference if ever needed to presume legal recourse.

Cindy continues to create and write material with local artist.
