Biography:

Anarchic no-nonsense nonsense from a proper London punk band singing short snappy songs with absurd topics and surprisingly good vocal harmonies.

Don’t expect politics, philosophy or politeness but you'll go home with a tune in your head, probably about furry breasted aliens or sex toys!

Their mums can't be ashamed of them, they're all dead.

Press:

"sounds like a bunch of old gits making music for other old gits"
Tony King

“Like the 13th Floor Elevators having a custard pie fight with The Damned”
Lol from Steve White & The Protest Family - Facebook

“Classic straight-ahead, old school punk rock: a half-brick of three chord aggro right in the ear. The Outbursts can play, they are tight and musical, but it’s the drunken, menacing attitude that makes this stuff so irresistible. Charismatic, and bang on the money in almost every way."”
Oli - Live & Unsigned

“Madly rad and speed fuelled 70s punk... The Clash via The Saints via some powerful Pistols punch”
Bugbear - Bugbear website

“You genuinely sound like you never gave up your punk ideals and learned to play properly! Good work!”
Vis The Spoon - email from

"A mixture of The Clash, The Pistols & Squeeze" - bloke outside New Cross Inn last week
Some bloke in the street

“There's nothing worse than a man in his late 40’s sweating through 3 minute punk songs behind a drumkit”
Peter Curran - Radio 4

“The Outbursts go from strength to strength. Their onstage antics become more and more entertaining. If Eric Morecombe had ever impersonated Johnny Rotten, this is how he would have done it”
Toby Burton - Rock Til You Drop website

“The best band on the circuit, go and see them”
Stix, 14 Carat Grapefruit's drummer - Rock Til You Drop website

“You can't play THAT on the acoustic stage!!”
James, - Givingaclick Festival organiser

“…stripped down scratchy messy basic lo-fi punk that’s all London mouthy and 70’s … they like these Outbursts down the Dirty Water Club and they know what they’re talking about... Old punks who should know better, growing old disgracefully... bloody good attitude, we all like a good outburst don’t we if we’re honest, they got off their arses and sent it in… more than just another bloody annoying MySpace band having an outburst when they don’t get the attention they want, good luck to ‘em we say..."”
