Biography:

Music and singing has always been a part of her for as long as she can remember. She listens and was exposed
to Jazz, blues, gospel and broadway music at a young age and believes that the key to a successful singer is the ability to listen to others and to yourself.

Her performances has taken her to many parts of Asia, Europe and the US. Born and raised from Philippines, she is currently based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where she’s performed with some of the region’s top notch musicians both local and international.
She was the vocalist for Asiabeat, Face First ,Aztec Jam,Jungle Jazz, Eye to Eyejazzmix, the Willie Rebano band, WVC Trio with Tay Cher Siang and the Solianos to name a few.
She had the rare privilege to perform with Jose Mari Chan and international jazz fusion recording artist Boy Katindig at No Black Tie in Kuala Lumpur.

Her influences include Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitgerald, Dinah Washington, Diane Schuur, Diane Reeves, Etta James, Big bands, and acid/fusion groups and a strong inclination to Blues, and Latin music

Gina Panizales is currently active in the Kuala Lumpur jazz circuit with her quartet called GPjQ performing at jazz joints . She’s also taken part at the several jazz festivals, private and corporate events and radio appearances.

She has released her self produced, debut album- FINALLY Gina Panizales under Multinum Entertainment on April 30, 2008 and ‘LOVE’S Tapestry’ album under Poppopmusic label on 18 December 2009.
