Biography:

Incendiary guitar playing and bluesy vocals characterise the music and performance of Andy Grant. Think Stones and Led Zep and mixed with some Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye- add a dash of flamenco and gypsy guitar and you’re getting close to this rootsy blend of blues, soul and rock.
After quitting his job in the gold mines of South Africa, Andy travelled around the globe making a living from playing music on street corners from Melbourne to Copenhagen. Andy is building a loyal fan base, winning over audiences with his fiery playing, catchy original songs and new take on some old classics.

Bassist Simon Rushbrook , and drummer Jack Revy complete the Trio lineup. Their stripped back 3 piece sound provides the foundation for musical genre hopping. A heavy rock riff may morph into a bluegrass tune, or a jazz funk groove all spun into a seamless musical landscape. By clocking upwards of 150 shows a year, Andy Grant Trio are becoming masters of their art: Good time blues, rock and soul music with great feel and no boundaries.
