A confusing road is the one taken to understand the mysterious band Argus Eye. The group, a triforce of lashing sound and shadowy wit, hail from three distinguished stops along the infamous Interstate 90. Nick brings his chunky-chowder beats from Boston, MA. Tom delivers his icy lyrics and Stratocaster squalls from Rochester, NY. Ryan turns blizzards of bass from Buffalo, NY.
Argus Eye released their debut album “High Objective” in 2008, which showcased the band’s eclectic style. The band spent the next year honing their sound, and is currently in the studio recording their sophomore release.
So, vivify your ears and keep an Argus Eye.
"When I listen to the music on the Argus Eye page I hear a hopeful future for progressive rock. Strong lyrics, good musicianship, great incorporation of multiple influences."
Bernard Matthews - Tune Review
"It all culminated in a wash of beautiful chaos, with Montagliano on his knees screaming into his guitar's pick-ups with a toy megaphone. It was a beautiful moment in time, and frankly just fucking awesome."
