The WIRED! Blues Band from Seattle, Washington, won the prestigious International Blues Challenge at the Orpheum Theater in Memphis, Tennessee, in February 2012, after a four-day competition on Beale Street amongst hundreds of bands from around the world. The band has won numerous Washington Blues Society Best of the Blues awards, including three-time Best Blues Band and the Best Blues Album, and performs in blues festivals throughout the Pacific Northwest, including Mt. Baker, Sunbanks, Jazz in the Valley, Winthrop, and the Portland Waterfront Festival, as well as the Legendary Rhythm and Blues Cruise in the Caribbean.
