Conjured up, and birth after a wild house party out at the Coyote Den in Enid, Oklahoma, when Bloody Ol Mule was about to start his set sometime around 4 in the morning, after a long slew of bands, and plenty of drinking.
This was when Brian Cagle, also known as Coyote Teeth climbed up on what was a metal folding chair working as a make-shift drum stool.
Bloody Ol Mule cranked up the volume knob on his Peavey Sessions 400 Amp, as he stared in Brian’s direction, giving him a sinister grin, as if the two of them knew that all hell was fixing to break loose, and then just like some screaming airplane falling out of the sky, the two of them took off, and cut loose down a trail full of all sorts of greasy Hill Country boogie blues, cutting a path good, and wide through Enid, Oklahoma, and on out into the vast pasture land of Garfield County, while Bloody Ol Mule, and Coyote Teeth drove it, as if the two of them had been playing together for years.
The Coyote Den seemed to jump with that old style Juke Joint warmth, and feel that can only be found in the Hill Country of North Mississippi with its heavy hypnotic boogie.
