Biography:

Michelle DeAngelis is an accomplished singer-songwriter and classical pianist who's original music will take you on a journey through loss, rebirth, love, wisdom, beauty and truth. Michelle's music has had notable achievements such as Honorable Mention in songwriter of the year for her original song "Edge of the World". Her song, "With The Angels" written for 9/11, was featured on two memorial documentary DVD's. She was honored with a plaque and a letter of gratitude from the NYC Fire Commissioner. Michelle’s original song"Lady" was performed by artist/celebrity choreographer Anthony Rodriguez( former Madonna Dancer) for the president of Turkey on a popular live TV broadcast. Rising Stars Dance and Theater company in Westchester County, used Michelle's original song "The Same" to accompany their award winning original dance number in national dance competitions. You hear Michelle's featured powerful high vocal prowess in a new single and Mix tape on the song "Work" by Party Master Rapper, Will Traxx. Currently you can find Michelle performing at her weekly residency at Polpo in Greenwhich CT or each friday at her mainstay Croton Creek Steak House and Wine Bar ( featured on cover of Westchester Magazine). You can also find her each month at different venues such as Rockwood Music Hall, Pianos, SOBS, Prohibition, Cello Wine bar and other NYC Venues. Michelle is also host of Monday evening Open Mic at the Gnarly Vine in New Rochelle, NY.
