Time's Forgotten, the Costa Rican “progressive rock band” was born in the year 2004 in San José, Costa Rica, with the intention of experimenting with diverse textures and sounds to be fusioned with rock music, including electronic music, world music elements and heavy metal.
After working on the production of their first album “A Relative Moment of Peace”, during a two and a half year period, the record was released in August of 2006, surprising the Costa Rican market with very considerable sales, considering that this is a band that had never played live before. In November of that year, the band's first concert was scheduled at the Eugene O'Neill Theater in San José, with the idea of presenting the record to the fans that filled completely the seats of the theater; even people were left outside the venue without a ticket.
In January of 2007 the band presented their album for the second time, on this occasion at the beautiful Amphitheatre of the National Center for Culture of Costa Rica in front of an impressive crowd, outstanding for being the band's second show.
Beside the achievements at a national level, Time's Forgotten was invited to participate in one of the most important progressive rock festivals on the planet: the Baja Prog festival in Mexicali, Mexico, where they shared the stage with some of the greatest names in the progressive genre, something never before achieved by a Costa Rican band.
During that year Time's Forgotten shared the stage with international bands such as Angra from Brasil, EZOO and CAST from Mexico, and made several important appearances in Costa Rica.
In 2009 the band released their second album called "Dandelion" which got great reviews on magazines and webzines such as Classic Rock (UK), Rock Hard (Germany) Lords of Metal (Germany), Power Play (UK), Rocktimes, Strutter Magazine, and many others, including an appearance on the important Prog Power USA promo CD.
2010 comes along with the release of their first ever video for the song "Second Time", the first single out of Dandelion.
Dandelion marks a new stage in the band's carrier: bigger venues, like the Melico Salazar Theater and the Costa Rican National Stadium, loyal fans and their first steps into international success.
For 2011 Time's Forgotten starts the production of their third album entitled "The Book of Lost Words". This will bring another lineup change, the guitarist Leo Valverde leaves the band, being replaced by Leonardo Rojas. The Book of Lost Words is presented to the audience with amazing success in the Melico Salazar Theater in June 2012, displaying a new and much more mature stage of the band, where Time's Forgotten finds the sound and direction they hope to follow in the future and hopefully take it to international waters.
