SilentJ began in the Spring of 2007 with two acoustic guitars in a backyard in Ellicott City, MD. We soon added a third guitar that quickly transformed into a bass. Months later, another meeting on the deck turned up a drummer from down the street. Days later, SilentJ was born in a basement jam session.
People ask how the band was formed, and we can only answer, organically. It just happened.
