I'm originally from a place 30 miles south of Chicago called Joliet, Illinois… I started playing the violin when I was 8 but quickly switched to the grand piano… then I really started focusing on singing and joined the choir and studied opera in my teens… I was writing music and lyrics as soon as early as 9, headlining as a R&B/blues soloist at 16, and performed at Carnegie Hall in NYC at 17 as the president of the concert choir… I moved to Fort Worth, TX, and then the Bay Area in 2008 where I sang in a gospel choir and started engineering and producing my own music and some covers, with a home studio consisting of GarageBand, a Yamaha P-80, and an AT2020... Sorry for the toilet reverb… I recorded most of the vocals in the bathroom! :P
