Biography:

The Ray Gradys formed in Charlotte North Carolina in 1996. A very young Early and Jon wanted to start a punk band with no rules or limitations, musically or lyrically.
In 2002, after touring the US several times and releasing 4 albums, they decided to move the band to Philadelphia, PA.
Two more albums and two years later, 2004 Mike Yak joined the band taking over drums.
In 2007, Russ Golden took over bass after Jon was abducted by aliens. Jon has since sold the rights to his story to PBS and has happily retired to the south of France.
Russ had to leave the band due to time obligations with his own band.
Bill took over Bass in early 2008 for an East coast tour. But then had to leave due to family obligations and to feed his cats.
Metal Chris filled in for a U.S.Tour in 2008 and the 2009 Canadian tour with The Subhumans. He continues to be the current bass player for The Ray Gradys when he's not playing Metal or traditional Greek music.
The Ray Gradys still continue to tour as much as possible.Their energetic and interactive performance gives the crowd a chance to be involved rather than just watch.
